ESP® Awards

International awards for the Electronic
Stability Program ESP®
The contribution of ESP® toward road safety has been
recognized this year by the presentation of two prestigious
awards:

• the Prince Michael Twentieth Anniversary
  International Road Safety Technology Award, and
• the FIA World Prize for Road Safety,
  the Environment and Mobility.

These awards are presented by two organizations working
for a worldwide improvement in road safety.

RoadSafe is an association of leading British motoring and
traffic companies, the British government and road-safety
experts. The Road Safety Technology Award is presented
by Prince Michael of Kent.

The FIA World Prize for Road Safety,
the Environment and Mobility
To inaugurate the centenary of the FIA, the FIA World Prize
was created in 2004. The award is decided every year by
the FIA Academy from nominations by their own membership.
The award recognizes exceptional merit (leadership, commit-
ment, dedication) by individuals or organisations in the
broader field of motoring.
Bosch is the second corporation to receive the FIA World Prize.
