HD generators from Bosch can be supplied in several sizes with rated voltages of 14 V and 28 V. Fine gradation permits ideal adaptation to the vehicle-specific power requirements and to the varying amount of space available in the engine compartment. HD generators are mainly characterized by their high performance and long service life. This is guaranteed by the efficient winding technology and an improved carbon/ collector-ring system. An excellent charging balance for the vehicle’s electrical system is ensured by a multifunction voltage regulator which compensates for voltage losses in the charging cable in a target-oriented way.
