Navigation and infotainment systems
Bosch Car Multimedia's key activities focus on all the
functional segments involved in entertainment, navi-
gation, telematics and driver assistance in vehicles.
The main task is to support the driver in any driving
situation, to increase driving safety and to contribute
to the entertainment of the vehicle passengers.
To do this, we develop innovative "man-machine inter-
faces" and well-thought-out solutions designed to prio-
ritize and display information (Human Machine Interface,
HMI). Thanks to powerful combined functions in the field
of driver assistance and driver information, we provide not
only increased safety and greater convenience, we also
include such environmental topics as the reduction of CO2 emissions in our new developments.
We also help to design and implement the standardization requirements of car makers (e.g. data formats, interfaces)
with a careful eye on what will be required in the future as
well. We meet the demands made by the consumer elec-
tronics market for short innovation cycles with new functions developed on the basis of professional concepts at a high
level.
