Enormously powerful
With a performance of up to 8.4 kW at 24 V, HEF109 starter motors are the right solution for diesel engines with a dis- placement of up to 24 l. Special features such as long-life carbon brushes, conical solenoid contacts and two-stage solenoid switching guarantee a maximum working life of 800,000 km. The integrated mechanical solenoid (IMR) provides reliable switching for all starting functions between starter motor and engine control unit or on-board computer. And for this series, too, weight and dimensions have been kept to a minimum.
