HEP109 parallel starting system: perfect for large engines
Our parallel starting system consists of two or three coupled HEP109 starter motors and has a service life of up to 800,000 km (on-highway) or 14,000 h in off-highway use.
Optimum division of the mechanical and electrical loads is achieved by switching on the main current after the coupled starter motors have been engaged. This also reduces the risk of over-loading any individual starter motor.
A further advantage of the parallel starting system with inte- grated parallel start solenoid is the reduction of the space required for installation.
