Hybrid systems

At present, virtually all vehicle manufacturers are working on hybrid technology. As a developer and supplier, Bosch is playing a leading role. Within a cross-divisional project program known
as "Bosch Competence Center for Hybrid Systems", specialists from a variety of disciplines are working on the development of efficient hybrid systems.

Hybrid systems are primarily a combination of an internal combustion engine and an intelligent electric drive. They can
be used not only to save fuel and reduce emissions, but also
to provide enhanced driving dynamics and more driving fun.
