The start/stop function

The new start/stop function turns driving into pure pleasure. Because it helps you to protect the environment, save fuel
and at the same time enjoy sheer driving comfort. If you have
to stop frequently, at red lights in town traffic for instance, the function automatically switches the engine off and thus saves
fuel. Bosch has developed two different systems to implement
this function - Direct Start with DI Motronic and the Start/Stop System with Start/Stop Starter Motor.
