A wide variety of comfort functions

Undoubtably the trend towards a sliding-sunroof as a
comfort feature for passenger cars is increasing. Our
modern electrical sliding-sunroof drive units and
intelligent operating concepts enhance comfort and
allow the driver to concentrate fully on traffic conditions.
With solutions from Bosch, driving becomes not only
more comfortable but safer, too.

Comfort to satisfy individual wishes

In order to fulfill all our customers’ requirements, we
offer our slidingsunroof drive units with basic or comfort
functionality. The basic version provides:

  • Sensor signal for separate electronics
  • Automatic one-touch operation: opening and
    closing with a single press of the button
  • Electronic control of terminal switch-off and
    intermediate stop.


The comfort drive unit offers the following additional functions:

  • Anti pinch functionality
  • Pre-selectable roof positions
  • Soft-start and soft-stop to minimize noise
  • Adaptation of roof operation to driving speed.
