Car drivers' insistence on safety and comfort has led to
an increasing number of electrical consumers in motor
vehicles – and to a growing need for electrical energy.
For cars in the luxury class, a future energy requirement
is anticipated of more than 10 kW. With secure coordination
of the entire energy supply system, control and management functions are adopting a key role.

With all on-board network components combined into com-
prehensive Electronic Energy Management (EEM) Bosch is creating all prerequisites for a futuristic total solution. We are developing complete on-board electronic network systems
and the associated hardware and software in a worldwide Bosch cooperation. The use of simultaneous engineering
tools ensures precise reconciliation with individual requirements.

To increase system reliability and diminish weight,
assembly work and expense, we are reducing the
cabling. The integration of universally applicable
hardware and software modules shortens the time
to market readiness.
