At present, virtually all vehicle manufacturers are working on hybrid technology. As a developer and supplier, Bosch is playing a leading role here. Within a cross-divisional project programme known as "Bosch Project House Hybrid Systems", specialists from a variety of disciplines are working on the development of efficient hybrid systems. Hybrid systems are primarily a combination of internal-combustion engine and intelligent electric drive system. They can be used not only to save fuel and reduce emissions but also to provide enhanced driving dynamics and thus more driving fun.
