Accelerator-pedal module

Function

The accelerator-pedal module is a ready-to-install unit
with pedal-travel sensor and idle and full-load stops.
A kick-down switch is incorporated when the module is
used with automatic gearboxes. Mechanical and electronic components form a single functional unit. An integrated intended fracture point ensures good crash behaviour.

We supply sturdy, accelerator-pedal modules with a long service life for gasoline and diesel engines in passenger cars and light goods vehicles. These compact, light APMs are designed on ergonomic principles and can be supplied with suspended or upright pedal as well as with a customer-specified plug. The range comprises a number of basic variations which can be used on any specific vehicle with a minimum of work.

A potentiometer or contact-free sensor registers the exact position of the accelerator pedal. A high degree of mechanical precision is also guaranteed, with very little pedal play and minimal tolerances.

Good crash behaviouristics are guaranteed by an integrated predetermined fracture point.
