Function
This high-power microcontroller for the
Motronic/DI-Motronic electronic engine-management systems controls the
cylinder charge, the gasoline injection, and the ignition. Sensors
register the operating status and all the relevant influencing
variables. Deviations in emissions behavior are immediately detected by
the integrated On-Board Diagnostics (OBD).
